Free People Launches #MyFPDenim Gallery

Free People, a specialty women's clothing brand, today debuts its #MyFPDenim photo gallery featuring personal photos from customers, fans, and followers showcasing the brand's newly expanded denim collection. The collection has grown to over 100 styles this month. Fans can upload photos to the gallery via Twitter or Instagram using hashtags associated with 17 specific styles or to the overall campaign hashtag: #MyFPDenim.

Visitors can browse the gallery for style inspiration surrounding the new collection. Photos will appear in a real-time feed in both the gallery and the product pages and are able to be shared to Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

"Our #MyFPDenim gallery is a way for customers to share their passion for the brand and to highlight their personal style," says Je women's coats d Paulson, Director of eCommerce and Marketing for Free People. "We wanted to have one central gallery to see all of the unique ways our customers wear our product, as well as to allow them to interact with each other. This is a great way to celebrate our customers and the expansion of our denim collection, a continued area of growth and innovation for the brand."

Free People's unique collection features denim that is bleached, washed, distressed, and embellished in a variety of silhouettes ranging from slouchy 'boyfriend', to stovepipe skinnies, extreme flares, and the brand's ever popular cutoff shorts. The denim category will also feature corduroy items, a fabrication Free People is highlighting as fashion transitions into the fall season.
Free People's user generated photo content capabilities within the denim galleries are enabled by OlaPic, the premier social photo crowdsourcing service. Free People is the first eCommerce site to officially launch with Olapic. See the #MyFPDenim gallery here fpdenim.freepeople.com.
